Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: It’s in a great location, with downtown a very short drive away & a grocery store within steps. We enjoyed the Keurig & provided K-cups & all the steaming apps on the TV. The bed was comfy & water pressure in the shower was good.
Negative: First of all, you need 3 separate keys to enter the property. We arrived after dark & some of the keys are difficult to use, so that was frustrating right off the bat. We couldn’t pry open the freezer despite my boyfriend’s best efforts & the water in the refrigerator door was inoperable. The chain to adjust the fan speed in the bedroom was broken off, so we had to deal with it on low for our entire stay. Also in the bedroom, the blinds behind the bed had a huge strip missing all the way across right at what would be someone’s eye level, so it was hard to sleep once the sun came out since there were only sheer curtains. The bathroom smelled of mold/mildew though there wasn’t any visible. Last but not least, I was told on the afternoon of check-in that I needed to pay a $150 deposit in order to get the key box code, which I hadn’t seen in tiny print on the booking. All of these little things added up to that we’ll stay elsewhere next time.
