We are a great place to stay, as you can see from our reviews...but we do not have a hot tub.
This lovely home offers a quiet space for renewal and restoration, with a contemporary décor that is simple, beautiful, and peaceful. And we have just reduced our nightly cost to 160.00 a night. The value for families and groups is excellent, and the home is particularly suitable for three couples, as there is a bedroom and bathroom on each of the three levels. l
Chapel Rest offers the rare combination of a stunning view with easy access ~ no hairpin turns, no steep gravel roads, and a paved driveway. The home is located just ten easy minutes from King Street and all the attractions of downtown Boone, and close to all that the mountains offer - skiing, rafting, zip lining, gem mining, biking, hunting, fishing, and hiking. The home is 2 miles from a major grocery store, 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 4 miles from downtown Boone and App State.
The main level provides a great dynamic for family gatherings, with an open floor plan that brings kitchen, dining, and relaxing together in a spacious room with vaulted ceilings, as well as the wrap around deck for dining and enjoying the cool mountain breezes. Also on the main level is a bathroom with tub and shower, a spacious bedroom with 2 twin beds plus 2 roll-away beds, and a roomy pantry for storage and groceries. The upper level bedroom is beautifully lined with knotty pine and features a superior queen bed and bathroom with shower. The lower level of the home is newly renovated with a half bath/laundry room, new carpet, Smart TV with Roku, a quality queen sofa bed, and comfortable seating, as well as access to the expansive lower deck with its stunning views.
The home comfortably accommodates 6 people; It can sleep 8, but for an additional charge of $25.00 per person per night.
This home is also maintained as NON-SMOKING, NON-VAPING, and PET-FREE to meet the important physical needs of those with allergies to smoke, odors, pet dander and animal hair. Our apologies to those who travel with their fur babies or who are smokers. Fortunately, over 90 homes in this area are pet friendly, but ours is not one of them. And many properties in this area do welcome smokers.
Parking, often a problem with a mountain home, is not a problem here; Chapel Rest has parking space for two cars, with easy entrance and exit.
Guests must be over 25 years of age to rent the home. Parties and large gatherings are not appropriate for this home, which is in a quiet neighborhood, and they will not be permitted.
