This is a true log cabin, built by the homeowners with their own hands when they were a young married couple.
The living room features a woodstove and vaulted ceilings. The updated kitchen is spacious and well-stocked for prepping your meals. (Or just take a quick trip to town!) The master on the main features a king bed, and the main floor bathroom has a soaking tub to enjoy after a long day of hiking.
The loft features another bedroom with a queen bed, and the balcony area outside the bedroom provides a separate space for some morning yoga as well as a sitting area.
The lower level is all about fun, featuring a custom-built Volkswagen bar, ping pong table, and TV room.
Follow the lighted path to the woods where the owner has created a "fairy garden" in a grove of poplar trees - quite a magical experience at night!

- This home is not pet-friendly.
- The upstairs loft bedroom does not have a bathroom.
- The owner’s home is on the backside of the 40-acre farm, they will respect your privacy and hope you will enjoy the property!
- The loft queen bed is tall in keeping with the old-fashioned style of the home. Stools are provided for guest use, but it is not ideal for all guests.
- Our cabin has a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. We provide both types of coffee.
- Lumpkin County Airport is just off the property, but it is a quiet small-town airport and disturbance isn’t an issue.
- Do not mail anything to yourself at this address as there is no access to the mailbox.

• There is a $27 damage protection waiver included in the base rate for this property. It covers guests for up to $500 in accidental damages, if guest reports damage that happens during their stay.
