Positive: Comfortable beds, quick WiFi, nice temperature pool, nice hot tub. Good location to easily access whole Briancon valley and beyond to the south.
Negative: This is advertised and priced as "luxe", but the finish doesn't match this yet. There are numerous small things that are a bit frustrating: the design of the kitchen is trying to be stylish with handle-less doors, but it has been badly fitted so every time you want to go into the cutlery draw you need to open the one below it first!; the hot water takes ages to come through; the kitchen tap is marked wrongly (cold comes out "hot" side); a number of the curtains don't draw all the way to meet each other; they provide towels but not for the pool or hot tub; the pool and hot tub are cleaned with different chemicals so you are expected to shower every time you want to hop from one to the other; the third bedroom is four bunks but be aware there are no windows in this room. But perhaps the biggest thing is that the "chalet" is actually just an apartment under the owner's chalet. I had not picked this up from the description (maybe my fault, I haven't checked the advert). It means that when the owner comes down to clean the pool or tub, they're looking right into the apartment- we weren't expecting this and were disappointed at the lack of full privacy and the fact they could be on their terrace above you when you were in the pool. Also, not allowing plastic glasses round the pool or tub feels overly killjoy on the rules!
