My place is centrally located in the heart of Pittsburgh.
There are several attractions within a short minute's drive and many local places which are walkable.
Major universities, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, schenley park, Phipps conservatory, the cathedral of learning, Carnegie museums of Pittsburgh as well as the Soldiers and Sailors memorial hall and museum are all within a 5 minutes ride to the house.
The bedrooms have cozy and comfortable double and queen beds with an amazing view of the University of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of learning from the house.
A fully equipped kitchen and common area which has a TV with internet capabilities would be accessible by you. There is fast wifi internet in the house also.
This would be an ideal location for a wonderful stay in the city of Pittsburgh in an entertaining area.

Summary: I stayed at Joe's place with 5 friends for the NCAA Wrestling Championships weekend. I am only giving 4 stars for this review for a reason that is easily resolved and, I trust after reviewing Joe's location he will resolve. I debated giving 5 stars regardless but felt I could not. Joe gets the one issue solved and this is an easy 5 star home. First, Joe's description of his neighborhood and home does not do it justice. I am not sure he could. Being from the Houston area I was not expecting a such a wonderful neighborhood and home. Joe's home is in the Little Italy neighborhood of Pittsburgh within walking distance of wonderful restaurants and bars. There are at least 2 areas within walking distance that have abundant restaurants and bars, though one will involve a walk up a steep hill home. You can always Uber or Lyft, which I recommend. This quaint neighborhood does not have parking. Joe’s home is a wonderful older 3 story home with character. It can comfortable fit 6, which we in our group. Though it does only have 1 bath, it also has a kitchen with fridge, sink dishwasher etc. It is cozy with nice working central heat. Joe is a delight to work with. He was responsive with all communications and let us check out late. Pittsburgh was also wonderful. The people were genuine, friendly, and a pleasure. It has obviously suffered some economic downturn. However, it appears on the verge of breaking through those troubles. Young professionals graduating college should seriously look at Pittsburgh as place to stay. I for one look forward to another visit. The one downside is that, though his home is advertised as able to sleep 6, it was not really equipped to do so. It had 3 double beds, which is fine, but the down stairs living area was not furnished other than one reclining chair, a desk, desk chair, kitchen table and 2 kitchen chairs. The kitchen lacked enough coffee mugs, glasses, dishes and eating utensils for 6. Joe only supplied 4 bath towels, which was also insufficient for 6. I believe that Joe is just getting his location prepared for rentals and will shortly have these deficiencies cured. If only 2 are staying at Joe’s, this would likely not be an issue. If there will be 6, check with Joe to see if he has added furnishings before you go.
