This convenient 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom , has a fully equipped open kitchen with an island, a heated two car garage for the cold Alaskan winter, and plenty of room for one large family or friends together. Summary: This is quite a nice, clean and comfortable property and it is very close to the local Fred Meyer and other stores, as well as some cafes etc. Another benefit is that, at this time at least, we were able to use the garage, which we have found to be unusual with VRBO rentals. This was our first trip to Fairbanks and we were pleased to find that nothing was much more than 10 minutes from this house, even though the house is over on the East side of the city. The only negative comment that I would make is that the neighborhood was somewhat mixed, with a couple of older properties on the street that were in need of some TLC but generally a well maintained neighborhood, especially in the newer part where this rental house is. I think this is probably typical for Fairbanks though, from what we saw in our short trip.
