The Space:
Your home away from home has everything you need to enjoy all that the Berkshires has to offer, from relaxing at the lake to swimming, hiking, fishing, shopping and dining in town — or enjoying an outdoor concert at Tanglewood!
The large and inviting open concept kitchen is the perfect place to gather after a day at the lake! The kitchen is eat-in with a dining table with room for 6. There is everything you need to prepare home cooked meals: refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and dishwasher. As well as a full complement of all the necessary cooking/serving items including cookware, pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs and silverware. Coffee lovers will enjoy the hybrid Keurig/drip coffee maker that we have for guests.
The living room has a comfortable sofa and loveseat with a large Smart TV with streaming capabilities. You can log into your streaming apps on the TV such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. There is also a Smart TV in the downstairs bedroom.
In total, there are three (3) bedrooms to accommodate guests during your stay. For easy planning, here are the bedroom layouts:
First floor main bedroom: king size bed
Second level, bedroom 2: queen size bed
Second level, bedroom 3: two (2) twin size beds
There are two (2) full bathrooms: the main bathroom has a walk-in shower and the upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
Another quaint space is the enclosed front porch! Enjoy a cup of tea as you curl up with a good book no matter the weather.
Outdoors is where you can truly experience the Berkshires. The house is walking distance to Laurel Lake. There is a large yard, and the oversized deck has plenty of outdoor seating with a gas grill for family BBQs.
Other things to note:
-Wall mounted split AC units in each of the bedrooms and the living room to keep the house cool during the summer.
-The home is two levels with ten steps to enter the front door of the house and ten steps to go up to the two bedrooms and bathroom on the upper level.
-Parking for four (4) vehicles in the large driveway. -Washer/dryer for guests to use.
-Hotel quality 100% cotton linens and towels, as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash all provided for our guests.

All guests must agree to our rental agreement within 24 hours of booking.
RENTAL AGREEMENT: We will send you a rental agreement within 6 hours of booking. This is due within 24 hours or we have the right to cancel this booking with a 15% cancellation fee!
Part of the agreement:
In respect to our recently built home, please review and accept our rental agreement. Fines will be assessed, sometimes over your security, if you do not abide by the following rules:
-No additional guests without host approval
-No parties. Fines assessed for additional cleaning, trash removal and property damage. A party is grounds for termination of stay and immediate removal with no refund.
-We ask that guests be off exterior spaces by 10PM.
-Bring your furry friend, one dog is allowed up to 50 pounds with $100 pet fee.
-Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside, within 50ft of the outside or near the window.
-No sublet, and no packages may be sent to the house without host approval.
-No refunds to be given for shortened stays and for any cable, internet, WI-FI, heating, cooling, or power outages or other acts of nature.
-Please note that there is a camera above the front door, side door and garage opening, all facing out. Such security cameras are capable of recording video and audio and may have such features activated during your stay.
If you are booking through VRBO: You agree that The Host will charge your card for the full payment of the stay 24 hours after booking. Any payments by VRBO (service fees) will be charged separately.
No sweat on accidental & reported damage! Your rental includes an accidental reported damage waiver fee up to a maximum of $800. The cost to repair any accidental and reported damage to the rented property including any missing or broken items up to a maximum of $800 will be covered at no charge to you as long the damage is reported to your Host before you depart.
