Positive: I appreciated some of the extras that I hadn't anticipated: lovely beach towels and a tatami mat, 2 big jugs of drinking water, a very quiet place. We loved the small swimming pool. It was easy to walk to good restaurants. Having A/C in both bedrooms was perfect. We only needed it at night. Also, there were lots of ceiling fans. Paola was easily available if we needed anything.
Negative: The light switch in the bedroom was flaky, flickering of and on, for a few minutes after being turned on. Not a big problem, obviously. We ended up driving to the beach if we wanted to swim in the middle of the day. Otherwise we would have been hot and sweaty by the time we'd walked home.
