Summary: I went on a weekend trip with my husband and 3 kids. We were arriving later in the evening. The hotel called at almost 11pm and informed me that the room I booked wasnt going to be available the 1st night. Instead of a room with 2 beds, we were booked into 2 separate rooms. Which would have been fine, except we were charged the same price, even though the rooms book at different prices. We were required to reload our stuff back in our car after the 1st night because our double room wouldnt be available until later that afternoon, but the hotel needed to be able to clean and rebook the single rooms.
