Welcome to the Vermont House, a charming vintage beach home offering the perfect blend of classic elegance and modern comforts in a tranquil family-friendly neighborhood just moments away from the beach, delightful eateries, convenient stores, and boutique shops. The space
Our 4 BR old fashioned home is ideal for a family vacation, reunion or work retreat. The contemporary decor and vintage makeup takes you back in time.
Home can sleep up to 10 and is located in the heart of Long Beach/Belmont Heights/Belmont Shores and close to the beach.
Belmont Heights home is located in a an upscale family neighborhood. Literally only steps to some of the best restaurants in Long Beach.
4th Street Retro Row is also close by and is famous for its boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, spas and is within walking distance or a 5 minute drive.

Living Room:
Rustic natural hewn beams and tongue and groove planking is adorned throughout the entire home, combined with old, yet modern furnishings. Gas fireplace and 55 inch smart TV, Wood blinds and Red Oak floors accentuate your surroundings.
Dining room- A unique Turkish Lamp, hand painted mural by local artist with mid-century dining table for the family to have a quiet dinner.
Kitchen:
Our kitchen has that farmhouse feel with an apron front kitchen sink and antique stove, yet elegant with granite counter tops and tumbled marble backsplash. Cook on the vintage Wedgewood Stove and sit in the mornings at the breakfast nook and enjoy the humming birds outside the window. Large Pantry area and a dishwasher. Kitchen fully stocked with everything to cook a great home cooked meal. Has both a 12 cup Drip coffee maker and a Nespresso machine.
Master Bedroom Suite: Old yet modern with vaulted ceilings with a wood hewn beam, wood blinds, modern ceiling fan and 50" TV on the wall. California King bed with crisp white linens, cozy bedding and ample pillows. Private French doors so you can step out into our outdoor living area from the suite. Attached walk-in closet with luxurious modern bathroom with oversized granite shower, private toilet area, two full vanities and a clawfoot tub to soak in and have that warm inviting bubble bath .
Bedroom 2 (Lighthouse Room)-Sleeps 2):
Warm and inviting with Day trundle bed. Light and bright.
Upper Floor (Low ceilings watch your head coming back down) –
3rd Bedroom-Twin beds in this bedroom which has built in drawers and beautiful stained glass with split A/C/Heat for individual warmth and comfort.
4th bedroom (Railroad Room): Vaulted Ceilings and Railroad Light stained glass window accentuate this bedroom, bringing in natural lighting. Split A/C for individual heat and comfort. Built in bookcase and walk in cedar closet. Has a queen size bed with comfy bedding and extra pillows. Roomy and charming
2nd Bathroom (Sky bathroom): Reach up and touch the sky with this light, bright and airy bathroom. Made to take you back in time, but with modern upgrades, this tub and shower combo with a Euro glass door is one of the more unique bathrooms you will ever see.

Front yard:
A whimsical front yard loaded with flowers galore, split rail fencing and a seating area to enjoy the surroundings. Meditate and enjoy the butterfly's.
Backyard Area (Outdoor Living Space)
Our landscaped backyard has two areas: The patio off the kitchen has a sun cover and outdoor night lights with a seating area to sit and chat or cook up something special on the barbecue grill. This has everything to experience the coastal feel. The far back patio area has a table with umbrella for 4, a fire pit to sit around and enjoy the evenings roasting marshmallows. Feel the many cool ocean breezes and listen to the fog horns at night. Yes, you can experience true California living at it's best.
Other things to note:
Please note there is a long and narrow driveway which some will find it difficult to backup. If you have a backup camera it should be pretty easy. If you are not great at backing up then I would suggest parking in the front half of the driveway or on the street. Just beware of street sweeping on Thursdays on the same side as the house from 8:00am-10:00am and Fridays on the opposite side same times. We also have a surveillance camera on the entrance to the home and a Noiseaware a "Smart Noise measurement system..does not record, just measures decibels" for our neighbors.
