Welcome to Beautiful Western, NC! Our cabin/house/cottage is nestled on 10 acres of private farm land that has been passed down through 5 generations and is near the towns of: Asheville, Marshall, Mars Hill, Wolf Laurel, Hot Springs, West Asheville, Weaverville, Black Mountain, Hendersonville, Burnsville, Spruce Pine & Many More!
**Please Note: Our cabin is a no animal rental, we have severe allergies to dogs and cats and due to this we are on injections 1x per week under a physicians care and have underwent surgery due to this. We are at our cabin several times per week as we are the managers. We respect individual's that have service dogs and we understand the importance for one's health that individual's have in needing the service dogs assistance, however, we would greatly appreciate it due to our own health risks that you chose a rental that is animal friendly. Thank you for your understanding.
*The main Interstate System - I-26 is only 7 Miles away & adventure Awaits as the Appalachian Trail & Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby as well as Hiking, Biking, Fishing, Golfing, Rafting, Tubing, Zip-lining, Horse Back Riding, & more!
Also, you can relax on the front porch or inside on the comfy couch, surf the Fast High Speed Fiber WiFi or watch your favorite shows on the Smart TV (Disney +, HULU + LIVE TV, ESPN+ Subscriptions and Amazon Prime Included). This mountain getaway has it all! Our Cabin is a new construction home, completed early 2020!
The moment you arrive, you will be immersed in the rich history of Marshall, NC as this very land was once farmed by my Papaw Clark, where he grew Burley Tobacco for many years! You will have access to ALL 10 Acres to Explore! The land in front of the cabin makes a great walking trail and in the spring/summer Ricky keeps a trail mowed for you, our guest(s) to enjoy! Also, if your visit is in the winter and there is snow on the ground you can enjoy sledding, building a snowman & More!
When building and decorating the cabin we wanted it to feel "homey" yet be very functional and have everything you need - just as if you were at your own home. The cabin has been decorated with a rustic - modern feel, that is light and airy - yet very comfy! You will find everything you need for your stay!

2. Shell Gas Station - 10 Stockton Rd. - Weaverville, NC 28787 (8.1 Miles from the Cabin or Exit 13 Off of Future I-26 Interstate). There are also several gas stations in Weaverville, NC that has firewood for sale - Weaverville is 14.4 Miles from the Cabin.

*Check-In Time is 3:00 PM: No Early Check-In is permitted due to our cleaning schedule.

*No Charging Electric Vehicles of any kind at the cabin, our home is not equipped with the proper electrical voltage for charging and this could create a fire hazard. There is a charging station at the Madison County Visitors Center in Mars Hill, NC which is only 4.6 Miles away. Please prepare for your trip accordingly regarding this. Thank you for understanding.
*Located inside the cabin is a Welcome Book of Information that includes: Information about the Cabin (History, etc.), Area Information such as where to eat and things to do, and Rules to go by - Most of all we want you to enjoy and have fun!!!
*The Driveway to the Cabin is Short and Well Maintained - any type of Vehicle will be able to access the driveway with no issues.
*Due to the Rural Setting where the Cabin is located, some Cellular Phones/Carriers might not have a signal, however, the Cabin has Fast High Speed Fiber Internet that you could make calls via connecting to the WiFi - please refer to your Carrier Settings and the make and model of your phone. Verizon and US Cellular have a signal. We have included helpful instructions regarding this in the Welcome Book for T-Mobile, AT&T, and Straight Talk.
*The Stairwell that leads to the upstairs bedroom has motion activated lights that will assist you if you need to walk down the stairs at night. Also, there are night lights in both bedrooms, the bathroom, and kitchen. The night lights are motion activated or you can leave them on.
*The weather changes with the seasons in the mountains of Western NC, there is a weather station on the kitchen bar - this will assist you in planning your day, etc.
*There are room darkening blinds in every room.
*There are 2 Bedrooms: 1 Upstairs - Queen and 1 Downstairs (Main Level) - Queen.
* Bathroom - Downstairs (Main Level)
*There are stairs that lead to the upstairs bedroom, if you are bringing a child, please bring a child gate if you are concerned about the stairs.
*The cabin is in a mountain setting, you might occasionally see various types of wildlife pass by such as: Deer, Turkey's, Squirrels, Neighborhood Dogs, Cats, etc. Please do not interact with the wildlife, this includes the occasional neighborhood dog or cat.
*Lawn Maintenance/Mowing Season: Early Spring, Summer, and can lead into late Fall. Please understand, there could be lawn mowing and weed trimming during your stay, this is part of keeping the grounds safe and suitable for you - our wonderful Guest(s).
*Our cabin is located in a country/mountain setting there are insects, bees, spiders, lady bugs, gnats, etc. that could possibly make their way in the cabin. We try our very best to keep the environment free of insects, etc. but please understand that this could occasionally happen. Also, if you have fruit and vegetables in the cabin, there is a possibility that you will see gnats - especially during the summer months - this is normal for our area.
*There are 3 outside security cameras: 1 is located at the front of the cabin on the utility pole directed to the driveway and road. The other 2 are located on the back of cabin and are directed toward the driveway and road.
