What We Love
Sunlight seems to find every corner of this modern farmhouse, beautifully nestled in a serene garden setting surrounded by Douglas fir. This Freeland retreat is a place to find peace and quiet on Whidbey Island, whether you're stargazing from the deck or unwinding in the warmth of the private hot tub.
This single-story cottage sits on the southwest side of the island, just about a mile from the center of Freeland. It's a lovely location for beachcombers (less than a mile to Frank D. Robinson Beach), golfers (three miles to Holmes Harbor Golf Club), and nature lovers alike (six miles to South Whidbey State Park). You'll also be a short and scenic drive from Greenbank Farm (eight miles), charming downtown Langley (nine miles), and the Clinton Ferry Terminal (11 miles).
Step out onto the deck each morning to sip your coffee in an Adirondack chair and listen to the breeze wafting through the evergreens. It's the perfect spot to watch for bald eagles, curl up with a good book in the sun, and barbecue on the gas grill in the afternoons and evenings.
