3 Bedroom House with Laundry, Air Conditioner and View

Riverbend is located in Lockeford on the Mokelumne River. This property is on 5 acres with another 5 acre home site adjacent to it. It is surrounded by an Alberino vineyard and lots of wildlife. This cozy two story house has breathtaking views of the river. The 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, living room and kitchen are all located on the first floor. The great room, laundry and 1/2 bath are downstairs. There is a basketball court on the property and if you love the water, you could spend the afternoon floating down the river.
We also have a on-site groundskeeper/tenant and we live just 10 minutes away, so we will be available to address any issues that may come up in a timely manner

Summary: Privacy, only a mile from town, comfy, spacious, LOVELY view of the river, and an awesome host! The house has a family room downstairs, super comfy, but we spent our time on the deck enjoying the views of the beautiful landscape and the river. We listened to the birds, saw a family of geese, tiny squirrels playing like little children, played some basketball, we went under the big tree, and could hear the sounds of the branches moving! Our last night we were on the deck, we saw a family from a house, not too far, not too close, sitting and fishing by the river. There's plenty of privacy, but it was nice to see from far people enjoying the river. Beds were comfy, plenty of pillows, blankets, etc. The housekeeper's house is next the property, saw him only once driving away, but you don't hear him, all surroundings are very peaceful. Next to the gate entrance you see the Locke Cementery, Dean Jewett Locke, was one of the founders of the town, nothing to be afraid, it is actually interesting to read about this family. From it, you still drive few feet, and don't see the cemetery from the house.There is a cute antique store in town, restaurants are good, and a big super market with everything you need. Last, Jeannette the host is amazing, she was attentive to every need, and made sure she explained in detail how to get to the property. Overall, a wonderful stay! Thank you Jeannette.
