Expertly crafted from the ground up for multi-generational or multifamily trips, this home is also ideal for couples getaways, Clemson game weekends, and all of your year round mountain-lake adventures. Conveniently located in a gated community under 20 minutes from both Clemson and Seneca, and only 45 minutes from Greenville. This northern- mid-lake location boasts access to the mountains and towns simultaneously with some of the cleanest water on the lake.
This expertly designed and perfectly appointed 5 bedroom home sleeps a whopping 19 people. There are three master bedrooms with king beds and en suite bathrooms that feature lake views. The downstairs master includes a built-in day bed with trundle accommodating families with younger children or families who prefer to stay together in one room. The upstairs bunkroom features two King beds, four loft beds, it's own bathroom and sitting area for kids to play games or watch a movie. The downstairs bunk room is perfect for kids and teens, with a triple built-in bunk bed, a large sectional for lounging, and a 75” TV with media plugins for kids who want to bring their gaming systems.
The main living area was designed with indoor/outdoor living in mind, which includes a retractable window off the kitchen and a covered porch accessible via a dutch-door off the kitchen. A large outdoor sectional with a outdoor TV and dining tables that seat up to 12 round out the space.
The well-appointed open concept living and kitchen was designed to accommodate a crowd. The kitchen features a commercial grade 48 inch stovetop, double wall ovens, two dishwashers, column refrigerator and freezer, large island with seating for five and plenty of storage. The butler's pantry has an extra refrigerator, an extra sink, coffee bar with both a Nespresso verturo machine and drip coffee maker as well as every other small appliance you could want or need. The adjacent dining area has a 12 ft dining table and seats up to twelve people. Finally, the comfortable living room has a cozy stone fireplace, two sofas, and a Frame TV.
Tucked inside a quiet pristine cove, free from passing boat traffic, you’ll find a large, two-sided, private dock, great for extended dock days swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing or pulling up a boat. Just outside the cozy cove you will find Keowee’s big water, which is perfect for all your favorite water sports. The dock includes a private slip (reserved for the owners) plus additional tie downs to accommodate up to two boats for your enjoyment. Conveniently located around the corner you’ll find the Sunset Marina offering; boat rentals, the Ship Store, and a fueling dock. Also, coming soon to Sunset Marina is a highly anticipated restaurant.
About us: Our typically beach-going family also loves lake Keowee, the surrounding mountains and water sports. We also have a special connection to Hawaii and have spent some unforgettable time there surrounded by family and friends. We love Hawaii's unapparelled beauty, culture of family (Ohana) and slower pace. Our hope when building this vacation home was to bring this spirit to Lake Keowee and we've dubbed our house, "Hale Ohana Keowee," or Keowee Family House.
