Newly updated home in an established Central Lubbock neighborhood. Lots of charm and comfort for both small and large groups alike. This property is super close to shops and restaurants on 50th Street and University and only blocks away from Grace Medical. Texas Tech University is only 2 miles away from the Southeast corner of Campus. The home is fully stocked with everything you'll need for your stay including comfortable beds, a smart TV, and fast wi-fi. Long term stays welcome.
Each of the four bedrooms feature comfortable furniture with nice mattresses to sleep on while traveling. Each of the four bedrooms contain queen sized beds with the largest bedroom including an extra twin as well. Each bedroom has new comfortable pillows and linens.
The living room seating with comfy couches that also allows for an additional place for a guest to sleep. This area has a 55-inch Roku enabled TV. You're welcome to download any other channels and use your own logins to watch whatever you like as well as use the screen mirroring function to mirror from tablets and laptops.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals during your stay and the laundry area is located just off the kitchen. Just off the kitchen is the dining area to enjoy your meals.
The bathrooms are clean updated and stocked with all the linens and toiletries one might need throughout their stay. Shampoo and body wash is provided in each of the bathrooms.
This property is pet friendly. Please just let us know if you plan on bringing a pet with you and remember that you are responsible for any damages or extra cleaning they might cause.
The backyard is large fenced in and includes plenty of room to enjoy the West Texas sunsets. Parking in the driveway has plenty of space for 2 vehicles and there is always free parking available on the street. This property is located in a quiet neighborhood known as the Wheelock Monterey neighborhood.
Please note that the large bedroom has two steps down for access so be careful when walking into it. The house has two steps up to the front porch and three steps down to the back porch. Please make sure people with mobility issues are aware of these steps!
Backyard is fenced and has a shed for outside dogs. There is a doggie door so your pet can get into the enclosed back porch if desired. We only allow up to 2 pets.
All areas of the home are available to guests with the exception of any locked cleaning closets.
Our interaction with guests is very minimal. The front door has a keypad so that you may let yourselves in and out. Once you have booked, please refer to the check-in instructions for entry codes that are sent out 3 days before your stay. Please only use the keypad lock to lock the door. Do not lock the bottom lock on the front door. Should you need anything during your stay, we live nearby and will usually be available to help at any time. We pride ourselves on our quick responses. Let us know if you're looking for restaurant recommendations or something to do!
Garrott, Shawna, and Amanda are your local hosts. We are available by phone, text, or Airbnb message whenever needed. Unless it's an emergency please try to limit late night phone calls or texts. We are happy to assist guests whenever needed but we do have our own families that we take care of as well. If you need anything, just reach out.
There's a new Starbucks at 50th and Indiana. I also like J & B Coffee on 26th and Boston. Sugar Brown's on 19th and Ave T is really fun, too. I love shopping at United Market Street at 50th and Indiana. Go on the weekend for free food samples throughout the store.
Clapp Park has a Rose Garden, nature walk, swimming pool, Safety City, and lots of space to roam.
There is a city bus that runs up Boston Ave, but I generally use a car to get around. Lubbock has great city planning and large streets that flow freely even during rush hour. If you don't want to drive, try Uber or one of the other driving services.

This home is located between 34th and 50th and between Indiana and University in the Wheelock Monterey neighborhood. You can find Market Street and Home Depot less than a mile away and many local and chain restaurants within the same distance. Texas Tech University is straight up Boston Ave and is less than 2 miles away.
- No house parties. Unauthorized parties will result in a $500 fine
- No excessive volume that would disturb the neighbors
- Clean up after yourself. This includes all dishes and food items.
- If you break something, let Garrott or Shawna know immediately.
- Please do not use the linens in the bathroom to remove your
make-up. If towels are stained upon arrival please let us know.
- Do not flush anything other than toilet paper. If a plumber is required because of items flushed by your party, you will be responsible for the service call fee.
