Summary: My son had a fishing tournament on the lake. This was our best option to stay within a 50 mile radius. Hotel staff was super nice - hotel was clean but could use an update on towels mostly. They were obviously used up! There was a bad episode that happened at 2am in the parking lot with some theft of items from the fishing boats that were in the lot. Cops were called but we were told that you are at your own risk in the parking lot! We were also told at that time this isn’t the first time that it has happened. Not a good reputation for Lake Eufaula if they cannot keep our fishermen and their equipment safe. There was a lot of talk about guys not coming back to fish tournaments there. We have a lot of good tourism and opportunities for fishing in Oklahoma, but it has to be respected and protected!
