If you want a million dollar view to go along with a spectacular property, Best Dam View will not disappoint! This property is the latest addition to Wind Luxury Properties joining our other properties at Smith Mountain Lake (VRBO #'s648334 Wind Family Estate, 515931 Wind Family Compound, and 825368 A Second Wind), our amazing home on the Rappahannock River (VRBO #966039), as well as one of the nicest homes at Wintergreen Resort (VRBO #1208597). Best Dam View will continue our goal to provide the most luxurious properties in the Mid-Atlantic region! Our properties at Smith Mountain Lak are rented Sunday to Sunday in the summer weeks from the third week of June to Labor Day..
Upon purchasing this amazing home, we immediately undertook extensive renovations to take it to the next level. New in 2020 the home underwent renovations including new floors, fresh paint, new windows to soak in the priceless view of Smith Mountain, a state of the art designer kitchen suitable for a chef, and 2500 square feet of deck space, half of which is under roof. The extensive decks provide outdoor living space to maximize your ability to enjoy the signature view of Smith Mountain Lake's famed "gap," and relax with a cool breeze blowing off the lake only 25 feet away! There are a very limited number of homes on the entire lake that can lay claim to this magnificent view and we look forward to sharing it with our guests. The grandeur of the porches cannot be overstated and you will find yourself wanting to savor every moment on them.
This home boasts 5 bedrooms (beds for 12), including 2 true master suites, and 4 full bathrooms. A spacious open floor plan living room was created by removing walls that flows nicely into a dream kitchen with new floors, cabinets, countertops, and appliances. A formal dining room is available, as well as bar seating but we strongly suggest you follow our lead and eat on the deck whenever the weather allows! A virtual wall of glass allows full enjoyment of your view from the kitchen, living room, sunroom, and bar area. Four of the 5 bedrooms allow you to see the lake and mountains from the comfort of our new beds and with access to the decks either directly from the rooms or nearby. Downstairs also provides a ping pong table as well as a card table for rainy day and late night entertainment.
Along with an amazing property, we will provide all the luxuries you need to enjoy your stay at the lake including kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, stand up paddle board, fishing rods, and other toys!
For your safety, we have security Sytems at all of our homes which some homes inlaced outdoor security cameras.
