Villa Katia is a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Baroque town of Francavilla Fontana and is a fabulous place to relax and unwind.
The house is set at the end of a private road in the middle of an olive grove. The house and gardens are completely safe and secluded, electric gates take you to the front walled part of the property and large driveway. Beyond the walled garden there are a further 9000 sq mts of olive, fruit and almond trees.
Steps lead you to the front terrace where you will find comfy lounge furniture to enjoy the peace of the countryside.
The house has 3 bedrooms, a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a large double bedroom and a twin bedroom and a large family bathroom.
The villa can comfortably accommodate a family of up to 6 and there is an extra "put you up bed" available to accommodate a 7th person ( ask for details and cost )
A cot with bedding and a high chair are available, free of charge
The small lounge area has a digital flat screen TV, with satellite and Wi Fi
The lounge area leads into the light, well equipped modern kitchen and dining area with double patio doors leading to the rear terrace with further lounge furniture and dining table and chairs, where you will no doubt spend most of your time !
From the rear terrace of the house a lavender path takes you through the wonderful olive trees to the swimming pool and patio area, where a welcome stone pergola with table and chairs allows you to sit and eat around the pool.
There are sun loungers and chairs around the pool and inflatables for children /adults to have fun.
There are numerous naturally shaded areas around the property where you can enjoy Al Fresco dining or snooze in a hammock, for you to enjoy the warm summer days comfortably and remain cool.
Villa Katia has a fabulous 10x5 m private pool, built with mosaic tiles chosen to reflect the colours of the trees and plants that surround it, giving our guests over the years great pleasure.
A wonderful and impeccably cared for garden of about 2000 square metres surrounded by a wall and fence that makes the Villa ideal for maintaining the safety of children.
The Villa is reached by a private road shared by three independent villas which are used in the summer by their local owners.
Villa Katia is situated in the upper Salento region and is surrounded by olive trees and in an oasis of peace and quiet but only 10 minutes by car from the centre of the very pretty and vibrant baroque town of Francavilla Fontana.
Villa Katia is located between the ‘two seas’, Adriatic and Tyrrhenian, which are about 20 and 25 kilometres away. The Villa was built for families, children, teenagers and also groups of adults in mind and contains all the modern comforts but also a typical and large wood-burning oven, table tennis table and 4 bicycles and helmets.
The house has a monitored alarm system for peace of mind.
