2 Bedroom Apartment with Kitchen, Air Conditioner and TV

1500 sq ft brand new place, basement, bright and airy, 2 big bedrooms and bath, kitchen and living room, never been lived in. Very secluded on 40 acres ranch . Upstairs is lived in by owners and have a friendly Great Dane and Australian Shepherd and a mini pig. Outside is surrounded by fence in horses. Access to skiing and snowmobiling, hiking and hunting you name it! Property is not in town, 25 minutes from town, elevation is 8240 ft and open year round, 4x4 a must in the winter and we recommend studded tires. Please no pets.

Summary: As mentioned in other reviews, this is a comfortable, spacious unit with lots of amenities and helpful food and toiletry items. It is really well suited for a couple or group who wants some time together in a great atmosphere. Our plans involved going to Glenwood Springs or the Aspen area each day. Since it is a full 25-30 minutes to get to the main road, we grew tired of being so far from our lodging. The owners absolutely were helpful and gracious. It just wasn’t the right choice for our itinerary. If we visit the area again, we will likely choose something g more central so that we don’t spend an hour a day coming and going. We played hard and it would have been better for us to be able to stop by mid-day to freshen up, eat, etc. before going to the next activity.
