Welcome to our spectacular 1900 Victorian, less than 2 blocks to the ocean in one direction and a block to downtown in the other! We are also conveniently located less than 15 minutes to Endicott College, Salem State College, Montserrat School of Art, Gordon Theological College and Landmark School, so perfect for family visits!
We will also consider short term winter/spring rental fully furnished!
Our spacious and sun soaked first floor two bedroom apt boasts old,world charm and all the amenities one desires to have a most pleasant stay. We have Internet and cable with 3 TV's. Furry friends considered! (requires approval)
Beautiful sunlight rooms with original working fireplace. 2 very good sized bedrooms , very large livingroom with built in cabinets and nice dining area with lots of windows. Great sized eat in kitchen with plenty of counter space and cabinets. Everything is there that is needed for fixing meals. There is a wonderful screened in porch right off the kitchen for sitting with coffee, cocktails or afternoon naps. Small but efficient bathroom with tub and shower. Small water closet also off of the kitchen.
This spring (2018) we have added a lovey deck off the kitchen for the first floor to enjoy the outside if you’d like.
You will have entire access to the first floor apt within this house, and your own entrance and driveway for one car. Enjoy the side yard for sitting and enjoying the shade under our very old sugar maple tree.
Our location is perfect! One block to the ocean and two small local beaches. Less than a 1/2 mile is Lynch Park a beautiful seaside park with a beach and huge sprawling lawns for sitting, sunning, picnicking etc! In the other direction your a block from our downtown which is filled with little shops and lots of choices for eating! It's a 6 minute walk to commuter rail which can take you north or south of Beverly.
Boston is a 30 minute train or car ride. Salem is a 5 minute drive and there is a speed ferry in Salem to Boston taking you right into the famous Boston Wharf area, Faneuil Hall and the amazing North End!
If you decide to visit In Salem for the day there are many parks , waterfront eateries and historical sites. We provide info in our house manual for you. You can use Uber to get anywhere!!
In the other direction you head north for 20 minutes to Old fishing town of Gloucester ( the perfect storm) or Rockport ( Bearskin Neck) both with wonderful beaches and lots of shopping and galleries! Great restaurants to choose from!
Newburyport is a wonderful town 25 minutes north of us which sits right on the water. Great walkway along the waters edge with all the beautiful boats in the slips. Nice restaurants and wonderful gift shops. Great place to spend an afternoon!
If your here for a week, day trips to Oqunquit
Maine or Kennebunkport are about 1.5 hour ride with lovely beaches lots of cool shopping and terrific places to eat!!!

We live in a beautiful old neighborhood that is great for walks and have both yoga and cycling studios close by for those interested.
House rules really are please treat our home as if it were yours. Reasonable noise levels as we have neighbors and want to be considerate.
