Summary: Very nice location, apartment needs updating kitchen and bathroom and some de cluttering. We arrived and noticed workers placing bunting up on beach access. Turns out for our entire stay we had excavators and trucks up and down the beach and no access to enjoy the reason we stayed here. We were not informed prior to booking regarding these works. We also had a 40 degree day! And the only ceiling fan is in the main bedroom which only works when the light is on…not ideal when trying to sleep at night! Broken recliner lounge chair in lounge area. Having said that the apartment stays fairly comfortable and the balcony is perfect as are the views. Overall it has a nice feel about it and it was extremely quiet, no traffic noise ( when the trucks knocked off ) just waves crashing. Also nice to have a lock up garage and another car park to use Would I stay again…yes! Hopefully the owners take on some of these shortfalls and improve the experience. It is an older building hence the original bathroom, kitchen and furniture and art choices. But they have supplied almost everything you could possibly need for a nice holiday.
