Summary: *cockroach alert* I wish I could write a good review; I was excited… on Hotels.com it had a 9* recommendation rating. The rooms were poor quality - kept tripping over the rug, the fan was loud and struggling, the bathroom vanity was dirty, especially near the toilet, floors covered with sand. As soon as I found the roach in the vanity (it was dead btw), I quickly packed up our things as we had to be out by 11am. I spoke to the mgr. Karol and she was very matter or fact with zero compassion. It was perplexing- I have a background in hospitality and I was stunned - the front desk staff, and restaurant staff were nicer. She ended up waiving the resort fee and hotels.com credited $50. It was “fair”, but Karol could have appeared to have cared - this hotel is 2*, I would never stay there again, and I hate to say it, hard pass. Avoid.
