It was created with all recycled materials; the entire interior is in old-growth dug fir and looks like a like jewelry box. It is quiet & private, close to the college & walking distance of Fairhaven and shopping. On an acre of conservation easement, it has ponds, wild ducks, deer, occasional Bobcats & a restored salmon stream. The home is what is called a dry cabin, which means it has no running water or shower. There is a composting toilet and an antique sink feed by a barrel. You must acknowledge this in your reservation request so that you understand what this means it is a significant detail to miss and I don't want a disappointed guest that was not prepared for this. Pets are a possibility but only on a case-by-case basis.
