This historic, 1800s shotgun is full of vibrant, original art. Full of vibrant colors, comfortable furnishings, and cold air conditioning, it is the perfect place to chill after a long day in the city, or a wild night on Frenchmen Street.
I love to use creative, architectural pieces as solutions to problems, so you will find custom-built tables, windows set high in the walls to let in light, the innards of an old piano hung on the wall as art, and an assortment of things from my art and weird things collection. I hope my guests will enjoy the comfortable, vibrant ambiance.
The house is a classic New Orleans shotgun with a hallway (also called a side hall), with two private, quiet queen bedrooms, a living room with a television and gas fireplace stove, a bathroom with a shower/tub combo, and a brick patio backyard with a table and chairs. There are lots of additional comforts and practical amenities, like a steamer and iron, extra pillows, blankets, and towels, toiletries, a well-stocked kitchen with local spices, plenty of pans and cooking tools, a nice coffee maker, hot water kettle, and even some popcorn for those late nights.
