Summary: The apartment is in a great location. The apartment itself was not equipped with any supplies so we had to immediately go to the store and buy hand soap, paper towels, cleaning supplies etc. I think the apartment would be ok for a family that understood that it didn’t have basic supplies but they could use it to go to the beach. The apartment was not very clean and at least in the master bedroom there was a lot of excess furniture stored that was inaccessible. Communication was great but I would classify the apartment as basic. We weren’t looking for luxury - just comfort. The rooftop deck was great but also very rustic with a set of broken glass lights nestled on a chair. Levanto is a good place to visit Cinque Terra, and the location was great for that. We ended up cutting our visit short as we were not super comfortable here. We are from the US and travelled with our two adult daughters and their spouses. This was the first vacation rental I’ve been to that did not supply basic items like hand soap. However this may be the norm because we had friends rent another place nearby and they had a similar experience. If you are fine with supplying what you need and doing some cleaning this is a good location.
