Cute single story beach cottage with about ~1700 sq. ft. of beachfront living (with A/C). From the front door you can see all the way through the house to the ocean. The house has been updated with all laminate floors, quartz countertop, new stainless steel appliances, brushed nickel fixtures, new electronics and more. The beach theme colors, counter and linens give you that warm, comfortable feel. The large hallway and great room layout of the house makes it feel openly large. At night, there is nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves in our comfortable beds. Also make sure you enjoy all the little details for your comfort (e.g. big outdoor deck, hot tub overlooking the waves, outdoor shower, coffee bean grinder, surf board racks, USB phone chargers plugs, spices, warming drawer, 15+ page detail instructions/suggestions (once booked), printer/copier, fast internet, TVs, Sonos speakers and etc.).

North County is a wonderful flash into the past of old beach cities, but still very close to many San Diego attractions such a Legoland, Del Mar Track, Sea World, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Petco Padres Stadium, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, Downtown Gas lamp District and Old Town San Diego. Also enjoy the Southern California weather with no bug spray needed!
If you prefer to stay local, bike or walk to nearby restaurants and bars. Relax or dine/BBQ on the back patio with views over the Leucadia/Encinitas bluff to the ocean below. Watch the surf, surfing, dolphins, whales or people. Take the 98 steps to the beach for your morning/evening surf, walk or stroll. This place is amazing!!
During your stay, we try to provide you will the necessities (e.g. beach towels, linens, bath amenities, spices and cooking gadgets). All we ask is you please replace what you consume so the house can stay stocked for the others to come.
If you love Del Mar horse racing during the season, we are great for fans or owners as we are only 7.5 miles from the fairgrounds.
Note1: the City of Encinitas has a 10% tax to all rentals less than 31 days for the purpose of restoring the beach sand. The tax will be added to the rental rate. STR# RNTL-000271-2014. Also, there are security cameras inside and outside the house for when it is vacant. You will be given instructions for how to turn the inside cameras off during your stay but some of the outside cameras and garage will remain on.
