“After Dune Delight” is a newly renovated Crystal riverfront cottage in the heart of Sleeping Bear Dunes. 5 bedrooms & 2.5 bath, two open concept kitchens, fire places with indoor and outdoor dinning rooms. 4 Kayaks for river fun and a short distance to lake Michigan beach and float/ swim to downtown Glen Arbor on the river. Well stocked for cooking, restful nights and pets. Tastefully decorated and furnished for memorable family experience.
We are Pet-friendly! Pet fee is $250 per stay. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Please let us know if you are bringing a fur friend so that we may get your pet amenities prepared for your arrival. We try our best to keep hair and allergens away, but guests with dog sensitivities should be aware. Please use our provided sofa cover and 'retired' towels for your fur friends. Booking guests will be responsible for any pet damage.
Quiet hours are observed after 10pm. We are in a residential neighborhood so please make sure to respect our neighbors. No unauthorized parties are allowed.

This “After Dune Delight” cottage boasts two downstairs bedrooms (King size bed in each room) and two upstairs bedrooms plus sleeping loft above to come home to after exploring the area. The ground level bedrooms are equipped with King beds and ensuite bathrooms. Upstairs bedrooms, one has one Queen size bed, bedroom two has one Queen size and one twin size bed. Sleeping loft has 2 additional twin size beds. If you’re traveling with a young one, you’ll find a Pack and Play crib and a highchair in the closet.
Five bedrooms, a Pack and Play crib, and one queen sofa beds mean this home can comfortably accommodate up to 13 adults and/or an infant, a rare commodity in the middle of Sleeping Bear Dune National Lakeshore.

The cottage has two full baths and one half bath. All bathrooms feature high quality amenities.

Two fully equipped kitchen on each level have everything you’ll need to cook up tasty meals, including new stainless steel appliances, an insta-pot, a crock pot, a blender, and two separate coffee station with an assortment of coffee and tea available. There are also kids' bowls, utensils, and a high chair for young families and pet supplies.

One indoor dinning room and one outdoor dinning set in the screened in porch. Kitchen islands and outdoor picnic tables and seating provide plenty of room for the whole group to enjoy meals together or at a private setting.

Two cozy living rooms with plush furnishings, a flat-screen Smart TV equipped with Hulu, Netflix, and Disney+ for your own logins. If you’re looking for some family fun or group activity, check out our board game collection. There are also kids' toys and books available.
Head out to the veranda through the sliding glass doors after making your book selection, slip into the outdoor chairs and enjoy the fire. Morning coffee in the cool breezes are also a treat. Outdoor fire-pit in the back yard, Adirondack chairs right on the dock extend into the river and picnic table will be sure to create memories.
Our cottage is right on Crystal River, a short distance from Lake Michigan. The property is shaded with trees and often there is a nice breeze blowing. AC is provided by the 5 minisplit units in the property, they are in all 4 bedrooms and 1 in the main living space upstairs. Each bedroom also features a ceiling fan with the exception of the loft.
Hot Tub Access: The hot tub is available for guest use—please enjoy it responsibly and at your own risk. To access the hot tub, contact management to obtain the key. All posted rules must be followed at all times. Failure to follow hot tub guidelines that results in misuse requiring draining, cleaning, and refilling will incur a $325 service fee.
Please note during our peak season (June-September) we discourage late check-outs and early check-ins due to the tight turn-around schedules of our cleaning teams. We are happy to allow for an early check-in or late check-out if our cleaning team is able to accommodate the request and still allow the rental to be cleaned to our quality standards and specifications. All early check-ins and late check-outs will be charged a $250.00 additional fee for this expedited service. We are able to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs during our off season (October-May) for a reduced fee of $100.00, please contact us for further information.
Please be aware guest stays longer than 10-days will require mid-stay cleaning. Mid-stay cleaning fees are the same amount as fee charged during booking. A weekly cleaning and linen/towel exchange is required for long-term guest stays, short-term guest stays may request a mid-stay cleaning for an extra fee.
Please note that 3 days before check in time, we will place a temporary pre-authorization hold of $1500 on your card. This hold verifies fund availability and covers potential incidental expenses during your stay. The hold will be released 7 days after check-out, pending no outstanding charges or damages. Your privacy and security are paramount, and all card information is handled confidentially.
For cancellations, please check the cancellation policy on your booking platform. Please note that even if you are eligible for a full refund, the credit card processing fee will be deducted. This policy does not apply to Airbnb reservations.

Child Safety: Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times.
Safety & Energy Saving: Please close the windows and lock the door when leaving the premises.

Cleaning and Maintenance:
Smoking or burning candles are not allowed inside the home. No eating or drinking in bedrooms.
Please do not wear shoes inside the house. Please turn off any electronics when you leave the house.
Visitors & Noise:
No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 13 people. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Third parties are not welcome, and the place is for guests only. Quiet time after 10 p.m. Please refrain from making noises past 10 p.m. to respect our neighbors. NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED.
Pets: Dogs are permitted in the house. Please declare your pets to us ahead of checking in and settle any pet related fees. Pets fees are $250 up to two pets. Please clean up after your fur friends and use the provided retired towels to clean your dogs. Please do not let your dogs venture into the neighbor’s yards during their walks.
Hot Tub: The hot tub is available for your enjoyment, please use it responsibly and at your own risk. To access the hot tub, please contact management for the key. All posted hot tub rules must be followed at all times. If the hot tub is misused or rules are not followed, resulting in the need for draining, cleaning, and refilling, a $325 service fee will apply.
Housekeeping:Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We will be happy to help arrange additional cleaning during your stay for a fee. If you run out of clean linens (sheets/pillow cases) and towels etc you are welcome to use the laundry facility to replenish them. PLEASE do not wipe any food, oils, or lotions on the linens. Please use the kitchen towels (paper or cloths) for their intended purposes.
We provide black make-up towels and cotton pads for removing makeup. If our other towels are stained or bleached during your stay, we will charge a $15 replacement fee for each towel.
Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager will not assume responsibility for illness or injury that guest(s) may incur while on the property. Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager, is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or property of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the responsibility of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other people they invite to this property (per owner’s approval). Owner has the right to ask guest(s) to leave the property if these rules are violated.If legal action is taken against guest(s), the at fault party will be responsible for all law suits/lawyer fees.
