Welcome to paradise at Mandalay Shores located on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in Ventura County offering dazzling ocean & island views up and down the beach & memory making sunsets for the rest of your life. We are located close to Channel Islands Harbor, gateway to the Channel Islands National Park & half way between Malibu & Santa Barbara. Your world will be filled with sunsets and sand, playing in the waves, kayaking, boating, paddle boarding, visits to local yacht clubs, wineries, golfing, shopping & restaurants. We are about 40 minutes from Westlake Village and 15 minutes to Camarillo. For football fans and players, this home is located 15 minutes away from the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp! We are happy to host your support staff for your player or for the dedicated Dallas Cowboy Fan.

Casa De Luna (1105 square foot) is a single level 3 bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms ideally situated in the between Channel Islands Harbor and Ventura Harbor. Located in Mandalay Beach Shores it is close to Ventura, Moorpark, Camarillo, and Carpinteria! House is equipped with Wifi & private backyard. Wifi is provided free to guests but speeds are not guaranteed. There are so many activities at the beaches/harbors and depending on the time of your visit, you can enjoy concerts at/near the beach, volleyball or surf tournaments, whale watching, and tons of shopping and fine/casual dining, all within a very short walking/driving distances. Beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated with a touch of 'beach vibe'! Get ready to stretch out, relax and watch the wave of the Pacific Ocean roll gently toward the shore. Whether it's a leisurely stroll along the beach, a picnic at one of the many local parks, or a nearby concert under the moonlit sky, Casa de Luna is a perfect vacation get-a-way. You can even experience an authentic gondola in the Venetian style on a cruise through local canals. Ocean breezes waft gently off the Pacific along a stretch of coastal paradise, while in the distance, a ship sets sail! Visitors seeking the California dream of beach, sun and ocean need look no further. The house includes a gas fireplace, 55" Smart T.V Wi-Fi, dining table that fits 4-6. Fully stocked kitchen with plates, bowls, glassware, utensils, cooking ware, outdoor dinnerware, Keurig coffee station, electric water kettle, instant pot, blender, toaster oven, and more! There is no Air conditioning in the house. We are not a pet friendly home.
Home will be professionally cleaned and serviced after every stay and we are taking extra care to disinfect high touched areas between stays. We are implementing all the cleaning guidelines provided to us by the CDC.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
Master Bedroom contains a queen sized bed, 2 nightstands equipped with USB charging ports, 40" Smart TV (TCL), ceiling fan, closet with felt hangers and dresser. There is access to the backyard through the master bedroom sliding glass door.
Bunk Room contains (2) two metal bunk beds with twin over full, 1 nightstand, USB charging ports, ceiling fan, 40" Smart TV (TCL), large closet with a metal clothes hanging rack and dresser. Children under the age of 6 and person(s) weighing over 100 lbs may not access/sleep on top bunk for safety purposes.
Third Bedroom contains a trundle bed with pull out trundle, 40"Smart TV (TCL), luggage rack, USB charging ports, night stand, ceiling fan and reclining chair and ensuite bathroom with shower.
Extra Amenities:
Throw blankets, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach wagon, and outdoor heated shower.
Outdoor Space:
Private outdoor living space including dining table seating (8) patio furniture for (8), gas (propane) fireplace, bbq (propane), gas (propane) heater. There is an oversize umbrella and two storage sheds on the east wall in the back yard. Patio furniture will be stored in the garage between October till May.
Please note: there is no Air Conditioning in the property.
The house is monitored for excessive noise. As host we have a responsibility to our neighbors to maintain a peaceful environment, so monitoring for excessive noise helps maintain good relations with our neighbors.

Guests have access to a four car driveway. Guests enter through the East white vinyl gate. The front door is a slider door with a smart lock. There is no parking in the garage. Owner keeps personal items in the garage please be respectful and not remove or take supplies from the garage or from lock cabinets. Guests will find beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, skin boards to enjoy at the beach. There is a washer and dryer in the garage. This is our vacation home and please be respectful of our possessions. Use of anything in the unit not listed as an amenity in our listing is not guaranteed. Host will provide a starter package of K Cups for coffee, toilet paper, paper towels and salt and pepper shaker.

Less that a three minutes walk to Mandalay State Beach, Neighborhood Restaurants, Brewery, Bakery and Pizza shops. 1 mile away from Hollywood Beach and 2 miles away from Silver Strand Beach. Less than 6 miles from Channel Islands Harbor and Ventura Beach Harbor. Less than 8 miles away from The Collection at RiverPark. Driving will take around 15 minutes to Downtown Ventura, 30 minutes to Carpinteria, 45 minutes to Downtown Santa Barbara, 55 min to Malibu, 90 mins to Santa Monica, 80 minutes to Universal Studios and 2.5 hours to Disneyland.
Once booking is completed, you will need to sign a vacation rental agreement, provide a security deposit, and a copy of driver's license within 24 hours. Drivers's license must match the credit card holder's name. Electronic agreement reservation implies that guest(s) have read and agreed to house rules when booking is confirmed. Guests will not be given smart lock code if he or she hasn't complied with hosts requests. We are not a pet friendly house and no smoking or parties are allowed.

Things are guests show know-safety devices. There are three cameras on the outside of the property. One Feit camera is above the garage, one ring camera on the front door and one Feit camera on the east walkway near the white gate that are actively records motion and sound.
There are no refunds for early check outs and etc due to force majure, acts of nature, emergencies, accidents, guests satisfaction and etc. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for your vacation.
Notes:
Please use outside shower conservatively to rinse sand from feet/legs/body prior to entering home. The Owner asks that the Tenant is respectful with energy and water usage-switch all lights and heating off when not required and upon check out. Absolutely NO GLASSWARE to be used in the backyard. We have plasticware for all beverages and plates. Fireplace: Do not put wood or charcoal in the gas fireplace and do not put the lid back on the gas fireplace while it is still hot/on fire. If guest leaves items at the house and asks for forgotten items to be shipped back to them, a fee will be applied. In order to turn on/off bistro lights in the backyard, use the Google Home in the living room and say: "Hey Google, turn on/off bistro lights." Trash Information: Bin use * Gray-Regular Garbage *Blue- Recycle. * Green-Any plants, dirts or rocks. The bins are stored outside on the west side of the house by the gate. Please take out the trash bins Sunday night (white line of driveway) and bring them in on Mondays.
