Positive: From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the impeccable cleanliness of the room. It is modern, beautifully decorated, and in pristine, brand-new condition. Both the room and the corridor smelled beautifully fresh. It was evident that Toni takes great pride in maintaining a high standard for her guests. Set on the second floor of a historic building with a lift, the accommodation opens into a small reception desk, giving the feel of an intimate guesthouse rather than a single room rental. We were pleasantly surprised to find there were several rooms within the property, which added to the sense of reassurance during our stay. We booked a triple room, as we were unsure whether the double bed would be large enough, but it was perfectly comfortable. The room overlooked the inner courtyard, making it exceptionally quiet despite the central location. We found everything we needed to feel at home: a modern shower, a hairdryer, a kettle, and a small fridge (completely silent!). The double bed and single bed were very comfortable, with plenty of pillows, and there was a clothes hanger, a TV, as well as plenty of sockets. We truly appreciated Toni and Ulysses’ warm welcome. Their prompt communication and willingness to address any queries or concerns were excellent, both before and after check-in. Although they do not speak English, they used an online translator very effectively, and even kept in touch via WhatsApp after check-in, which was extremely helpful. On a scale of 1 to 10, we would rate our experience at AC Room Madrid Centro a resounding 10. We highly recommend these modern rooms for a stay in the heart of Madrid, conveniently located on the lively Fuencarral pedestrian shopping street, just off Gran Vía. The location is excellent, with shops, eateries, and bars a few steps away, and all major sights within walking distance or a short bus or metro ride. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Madrid! Thank you, Toni and Ulysses!
