Summary: We’re a couple in our mid-30s visiting from California and we genuinely don’t have a single negative thing to say about our stay at the Abigail Hotel! From the moment we walked into our room, we were greeted with a handwritten birthday card, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and delicious cookies. It was the best way to start our trip and a sign of how attentive the staff would be throughout our stay. Every interaction was positive and the breakfast each morning was fantastic. The location was also perfect. It was close enough to walk to everything we wanted to explore downtown, yet still quiet and relaxing when we returned to the hotel. One moment that really stood out happened on a day we skipped housekeeping. We were in a rush to leave one day, so we left the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. When we returned later, we found a basket filled with everything housekeeping would have refreshed with a note encouraging us to take what we needed since we asked them not to do it for us. We’ve never had a hotel do that before, and it truly highlighted the above-and-beyond level of care. Our stay felt personal, comfortable, and genuinely appreciated from start to finish. We highly recommend the Abigail Hotel to anyone visiting the area and will absolutely stay here again.
