You will love that our home is located on a hill, nestled among the trees within a quiet neighborhood. It is secluded enough to provide a peaceful retreat, yet close enough to the heart of downtown... in the center of all that Chattanooga has to offer.
Relax with your family and friends in a tranquil setting that sleeps 8 in 1-king bed, 2-full beds, and 2-twin futons. You may stay indoors, play board games, finalize projects in our dedicated workspace, read, watch your favorite shows, or dine-in. Take a short drive to the market or downtown Chattanooga River front, aquarium, museums, zoo, Ruby Falls, and Lookout Mountain. A picnic basket is stocked and left for you to take along on your romantic getaway. Cheers...to creating lasting memories!
Nearby grocery stores include Trader Joe's, The Fresh Market, Whole Foods Market, Publix, Sam's, Costco, and Walmart. Please explore the local shops and restaurants. Hamilton Place Mall boasts a variety of eateries and stores to satisfy your price point. A short list of restaurants and local attractions is included in our house manual, which is located on the entry way table by the front door.
Our spacious master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a 43" smart TV, a walk-in closet, and an en suite bathroom with a shower and a jetted tub. Two additional bedrooms have full-sized beds with bedside tables, lamps, chest of drawers, and ample closet space. Each bedroom is supplied with a steam iron and an iron board. For safety, please use iron boards when ironing. Additionally, a few lamps are equipped with USB ports. Please check for ports on the rear of lamps.
Upstairs bathroom and master bathroom are equipped with blow dryers and toiletries. Extra towels and washcloths are stored in the hallway linen closet as well as under the sink in the master bathroom.
Our large family room has two futons that convert to twin-sized beds for additional sleeping. Linen for futons is stored in the adjacent walk-in closet. Please use extra blankets as a topper for added comfort when sleeping on futons. Additional blankets are stored by the washer and dryer, which are located upstairs in the family room. At check-out, place used linen in the hallway bathtub so that they will be laundered and ready for our next guests to use and enjoy.
The washer and dryer are available for your use. Please remove lint after using the dryer and leave washing machine lid open for ventilation after each use.
For your enjoyment, we have a few items for our younger guests to enjoy. A selection of children's books is stored on the bookcase and a large bin of children's toys and puzzles is stored in the walk-in closet. Please sanitize and store toys after each use. Thank you.
Our cozy living room has a sofa, a loveseat, and two chairs with end tables and a center table. On one end table is a chess game set and on the other is a checkers set...both with glass pieces. On the chess game board, we've left basic instructions to assist beginners with the rules of engagement. We have laminated the printed instructions for your convenience. Please leave the instructions on the chess board for our next guests to use and enjoy. Please monitor children when playing with chess and checkers pieces. Thank you.
The fireplace will create ambiance for quality time spent with family and friends while watching your favorite program on the 50" smart TV.
Our dining room has an extended table that seats 12 comfortably. For your convenience, dining table pads and extra folding chairs are stored in the entry way coat closet.
Our full-service kitchen provides the comforts of home with a dishwasher, electric range with oven, microwave, refrigerator with icemaker, a blender, and a toaster. For your convenience, a Keurig machine serves dual function for use with K-pods or traditional grounded coffee. Enjoy a cup of coffee on us!
Our cupboards offer ample storage space and are stocked with cups, saucers, plates, bowls, drinking glasses, wine glasses, serving bowls, platters, serving utensils/flatware, pots, and pans. Bring along preferred spices to create your family's favorite dishes. A dessert cookbook has been left on the kitchen counter for you to try a few new recipes. Are you thirsty, well look in the refrigerator. You will find a few bottles of water...just for you, so ENJOY!
Did you notice the picnic basket in the kitchen? We've stocked it with a picnic blanket, as well as utensils, plates, glasses, snacks, and drinks for two to take along on a romantic get-away by the river front or while enjoying the bird sanctuary at Audubon Acres. Please wash and return used items for our next guests to use and enjoy. At check out, please place the used picnic blanket with other linen in the bathroom tub. Thank you.
Did you forget your workout equipment? Well, we will help you with your morning stretch routine. Create a Zen experience while on vacation by using the soft yoga mat, a large floor exercise ball, and two 5-pound hand weights that are available for your convenience. Our exercise equipment is stored in the family room.
Should you need them, our first aid kit is stored in the upstairs linen closet and our fire extinguisher is stored under the kitchen sink. For your convenience, a vacuum cleaner, as well as a broom with dustpan are stored in the entry way coat closet. For added safety, our home is equipped with smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector.
