The Space:
Kick your feet up and enjoy the peace and quiet from either the front or back deck. Minutes from the mountains, skiing, snowmobile access to the VAST trail, games by the fireplace, swimming and kayaking at Harriman Reservior, hiking, golfing, mountain biking, antiquing, and breweries. There is no shortage of ways to unwind and take in the serenity of this quintessential 1970’s chalet, during every season.
The Green Mountain Lodge VT is a 4 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom chalet located in West Dover in the heart of Southern Vermont, 1.5 hours from Albany, 2.5 hours from Boston, 3 hours from Providence and 4 hours from New York.
Our home is lovingly updated, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including:
- Hi-speed fiber optic Wifi; Smart-TV; Netflix included
- Outdoor hanging chairlift swing (your IG moment awaits!)
- Open concept kitchen with brand-new, stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar

- Living room with dining room adjacent and wood-burning fireplace; record player; board games

- 1.5 updated bathrooms with tub and shower
- 100% turkish cotton bath towels; hand and face towels
- Two decks: patio table set with umbrella, and 8-foot covered log rack with firewood provided
- Wood-burning fireplace with cut and seasoned firewood
- Outdoor chimenea with Adirondack chairs
We are 5 miles away from Mount Snow, 9 miles from the historic town of Wilmington, 20 miles from Harriman Reservoir, and 12 miles from Stratton Mountain Resort.
Guest Access:
Parking: There is parking for up to 4 vehicles end to end. Our driveway is professionally maintained in the winter months.
In the winter months we strongly advise using a car with four-wheel drive. Keep in mind that cell service can be spotty, and we do not have landlines. We offer free high-speed WiFi at the lodge so prior to arriving and departing we recommend you screenshot directions in case you lose cell service.
Besides a locked basement, the entire home and grounds are available for your enjoyment!
Other Things to Note:
Please be respectful of our home and our belongings. A lot of time and effort has gone into making this space as comfortable as possible and we hope to share it for a long time.

WAIVER & RELEASE of LIABILITY: The owners urge all guests to use the Green Mountain Lodge VT facilities and its grounds in the safest manner. Use of all features, including but not limited to the use of stairs, grounds, and appliances are done at the guests sole risk. Guests understand that they are fully responsible for use of all features and owners shall not be liable to guest for any claims related to illnesses, demands, injuries, damages, or actions arising out of or in connection with the misuse of facilities, natural events/disasters or general accidents on facility grounds. Guests choosing to use the firepit agree to do so safely and in accordance with house rules. Guests understand owners are not to be held responsible for damaged or lost personal property. Guest hereby holds owners harmless from any/all claims brought against them. Guest understands that by booking a reservation they are effectively agreeing to the terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability.
LATE CHECK-OUT FEES: In order to prepare our property for the next guests, housekeeping has been scheduled to arrive promptly upon check-out. “Un-scheduled” late check-outs not only affect this property, but other properties, booking calendars, housekeeping schedules and futures guest reservations. In the event a guests stays beyond their original scheduled check-out time, they will be charged a rate of $75.00 based on the current nightly rate. We appreciate your understanding.
**House does not accommodate more than 8 adults. If this is exceeded, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and/or charge the extra guest fee.
**Three night minimum for holidays including MLK, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
