Located eight miles east of Waldport, this home is far enough away from the busy Highway 101 to be out of earshot of the steady stream of traffic, but still close enough to take a quick drive into town for a nice dinner or some groceries. The Alsea River, just steps away from the back door, offers spectacular fishing and boating, and the fabulous beaches near Waldport are ready and waiting for you to go beachcombing or exploring tide pools.
This recently remodeled one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin has a no-frills yet comfortable style and will be a perfect place for guests to relax and escape the stress of everyday life. Because it is at the very end of an already-quiet road, you will enjoy extra peace and solitude here. Large windows throughout the living area allow a marvelous view of the trees and water that will surely delight you.
The living room has two plush recliner chairs where you can put your feet up and behold the sight of the river. The updated kitchen has everything you may need to prepare meals during your stay. If you catch some fish, cook them up here and savor the freshness of your catch. With a stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and toaster, you will have all the tools you need to whip up nice meals, snacks, or whatever else your heart desires.
In this cabin you will have Internet, a TV equipped with cable and a DVD/VCR player, and a stereo, but you may prefer to sit peacefully and enjoy the quiet sights and sounds of nature instead. If you get chilly, start a fire in the wood-burning fireplace to quickly fill the house with warmth. Bring your own wood!
