We would like to welcome you to Higgins Lake's newest and cutest year-round vacation rental. Regardless of the season or what you're into, you are sure to find it at Higgins Lake!
As one of Northern Michigan's premier inland lakes, guests are drawn to Higgins Lake during the warmer months for its crystal-clear water, endless sandbars, snorkeling, boating, lively atmosphere, and family adventures. But that's not all! This all-season destination also attracts snowmobilers, cross-country skiers, and ice fishermen from all over the country. While the milder months of spring and fall are ideal for color tours, scenic drives, long bike rides, mushroom hunting, bird watching, and of course evenings spent drinking cherry wine by the fire!
The cottage is located two blocks south of the lake and features every comfort of home. Outside guests will be lured in by the cottage's charm, yard decor, and whimsical gardens. Immediately upon entering the home, guests will also be impressed by the vaulted ceiling, open layout with a warm wood-burning stove, and updated kitchen!
Perfect for families, friends, and entertaining. The cottage boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms, outdoor seating with a fire pit, a gas grill, and plenty of space to spread out both inside and out. The master bedroom features a brand-new queen bed and also has an egg topper for extra comfort. Guests will also enjoy a selection of kids' activities, a variety of books, and family games on-site.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking basics including spices, oils, a standard drip coffee maker, coffee filters, a crockpot, a pressure cooker, a muffin pan, cutting boards, a spiralizer, a small food processor, and a food chopper! Any non-perishable food items left at the house are also for guest use.
Other amenities include free WiFi, two smart TVs, freshly laundered linens, bath towels, beach towels, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, a hairdryer, iron/board, toddler pack-n-play, and washer/dryer, laundry detergent, and hand soap. The host has also provided shampoo and disposable razors for guests to use!
Parking is located on the driveway only and is large enough to accommodate a couple of cars, a boat, and trailer, or a few snowmobiles or ATVs.
