As you wind your way up the gravel road toward Antler Ridge Hideaway, your anticipatition of what awaits will increase along with the elevation. When you turn off of the gravel and onto our concrete drive, you get your first look at this beautiful mountain home. You may just want to pause for a few minutes to sit on the porch to take in the view before beginning to unload your vehicle and get your adventure started!
Main Level -
Come enjoy mountain life in this true log cabin perched in the perfect spot to enjoy stunning mountain views and the sounds of nature.
A fully furnished kitchen awaits with everything you will need to prepare great meals and snacks, including a Keurig Duo coffee/beverage maker where you can brew a whole pot of coffee or use pods to make your favorite beverage one cup at a time, a slow cooker and an InstantPot. Enjoy Belgian waffles made in the flip waffle maker! The kitchen is equipped with the latest stainless steel appliances and a dining table for meals in with seating for six.
The family room features a cozy gas fireplace, comfortable seating and a flat-screen tv with a smart DVD player to access your favorite apps.
A gas grill is located just outside on the deck - perfect for grilling burgers, juicy chicken, kabobs or sizzling steaks.
Two cozy and comfortable bedrooms: one is a gorgeous Master on Main with a king-size bed , an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower and double vanity, and featuring a convenient work-from-home desk nook overlooking the stunning mountains, and a 32” flat-screen tv.
The second bedroom on the main level has individual sleeping for two guests. This bedroom overlooks the screen porch and the Mountain View. This bedroom includes a 32” flat screen smart tv.
A common hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination, sink and toilet is on this level.
The living room features a cozy gas fireplace, a flatscreen tv, easy chair, a recliner and a sofa. Just outside of the living room is a screened-in porch with a porch swing, rockers and a ceiling fan for those of us who need time away from the bugs but still want to see the spectacular views and wildlife.
Downstairs -
A third bedroom with a king-size bed with a Memory Foam mattress and just through the sliding barn door is a full en-suite bathroom.
In the game room there is a 7’ Pool table for entertainment and a full size washer and dryer in a separate laundry room.
Also on the terrace level is a den with a flatscreen tv, equipped with a Google Chromecast so you can access your favorite streaming apps, comfy seating, and games and books to keep you occupied on the occasional rainy days.
Just outside of the door, you will find a hot tub (with a brand-new hot tub cover installed 8/30/2021) for soaking after a day spent hiking and exploring and a very large deck with another swing, a comfortable sectional seating area, rocking chairs and an outdoor table, comfortable enough to spend hours taking in the views and perhaps spotting some of the local wildlife such as deer, foxes, squirrels, hawks, turkey and the occasional eagle.
Cornhole boards and beanbags are provided to set up a big family game challenge on the large bottom deck!
You will make wonderful memories here that will last a lifetime.
Outside -
There is a long, private concrete driveway with a turnaround. The cabin has an additional deck on the driveway side that is perfect for morning coffee. On the opposite side of the cabin is the fire pit area complete with seating and some firewood. The downstairs deck has stairs that go down to a yard area for playing with the children or your pet should you bring one.
The road through the community up to Antler Ridge Hideaway is a narrow gravel road that is steep in places. 2WD is fine. First-time visitors often comment that the drive up was part of the adventure, although it quickly becomes routine. You can’t see views like this without driving to the top of a mountain!
