This clean and modern 2 bedroom home is located in the heart of the Irish Channel in a very safe and walkable area. The home is one block off of Magazine Street and is surrounded by great places to eat, drink, shop, and have a fantastic time in New Orleans. This is a highly desirable neighborhood that is central to the best parts of the city.
The Irish Channel is a charming neighborhood with classic architecture and
a friendly/outgoing local vibe. It's central to many great places to see
and things to do. This home is one block off of Magazine street, where you
can walk for blocks in either direction and encounter an endless selection
of great food/restaurants and boutique shops. It is truly one of the best
parts of the city. Here are a few of my favorite spots in the area.
Saint Charles Street - 6 blocks away - Saint Charles may be the most iconic
street in New Orleans. Lined with gorgeous oak trees and mansions with
classic Southern architecture. It is a sightseer's paradise.
Bouligny Tavern - .8 Miles - Classy cocktail bar and restaurant on Magazine
Street if you are looking for a nice night out
The Chloe - 1.2 Miles - The restaurant at the Chloe hotel on Saint Charles
street is open to the public and a fantastic place for a date night. The
food is incredible and the vibe both inside and on the patio area are lovely
Barrel Proof - 1 Mile - Cocktail bar on Magazine street known for its
hand-crafted cocktails, loud music, punk rock décor, and overall fun vibes
Bourbon Street/French Quarter - 2.5 Miles - You can easily take the
streetcar on Saint Charles street to get to Bourbon/French Quarter.
Otherwise, it is just a short Uber ride away.
Tracy's - One block away - Divey sports bar with a fun atmosphere and great
food. Awesome place to watch a game!
Parasol's- Next door - Great local dive bar with friendly staff/patrons and
a great lunch menu
Breaux Mart - .5 Miles - Grocery store where you can get just about
anything you need. Very handy if you are planning an extended stay
Super Walmart - .6 Miles - I think most people know of Walmart (lol) but in
case you don't, it is a superstore where you can literally get anything you
need.
