Summary: My partner and I spent 17 nights at the flat in rue André Réal. I was teaching at IUT 2, so the flat was only 3-4 minutes from the university, 5 minutes from la gare SNCF and a short walk to Cours Jean Jaurès and the centre of town – altogether très pratique! My partner who was mainly responsible for the shopping told me he also appreciated the Casino supermarket and the excellent boulangerie just opposite... I loved the 19th century feel about the flat: high ceilings, tall windows, large fireplace and a small balcony that was big enough to sit out on and where you could dry hand-washed clothes in the noon-day sun. The modern chest-high wainscotting and matching grey floor covering makes the flat look smart and easy to keep clean.
