Bright, charming, perfect summer vacation home built in 1832 in Norman Rockwell's Stockbridge. Two outside decks, fire pit, inside porch with skylights, 3-4 bedrooms. Pet friendly, good air conditioning, hardwood floors in bedrooms.
Easy walking distance Stockbridge Coffee and Tea on Elm street, Stockbridge, which is also a second hand book shop and a great place to hang out or write. Ditto re the Stockbridge library and the Red Lion Inn, which has live music in the evenings, great food and a lovely porch on which you can have a nice cup of tea or a cocktail!
You don't need a car to go hiking - you can walk down the hill and through the little down of Stockbridge to reach Lara's tower and the Mary Flynn trail or the stunning property with glorious views at the Marian Fathers which is a five minute walk up the hill.
